What do you do for nervous/anxious patients?
We provide nitrous oxide (happy gas), penthrox (the green whistle), topical numbing gel is applied prior to anaesthetic, noise cancelling head phones, Netflix entertainment all make for a more comfortable experience. We also have a highly experienced team that work hard to make your visit as comfortable as possible
Do you do cosmetic dentistry?
Yes we do tooth whitening, veneers, crown, smile makeovers and tooth coloured fillings.
Payment Options
At Mydental on Prospect we offer a variety of options to pay for your treatment. Payment is required at the time of treatment, unless prior arrangements have been made. We have and afterpay and smile now available
HICAPS
We have a HICAPS electronic claims system for your convenience, so if you have extras cover, we can process your rebate on the spot and only gap payment will be required at the time of treatment. Using HICAPS, we are also able to provide a rebate estimate prior to treatment for several participating health funds.
Full or gap payment can be done with Cash, EFTPOS, Bank Cheque and all major credit cards.
Child Dental Benefits Scheme and Veterans affairs
Eligibility for CDBS: general dental services for children aged between 2-18years.
If guardian/parent receives benefits such as Family Tax Benefit Part A for at least part of the calendar year. A letter is sent and can be checked with your current Medicare card or click here.
Do you see children?
Yes our practice is very children friendly, providing all types of dental treatment for children, examinations, fissure sealants, fillings, extractions, space maintainers, sports guards, orthodontic assessment and referral etc. We have two very experienced Oral Health Therapists and both Dr Dianne and Dr Sarah see children too.
